One-time setup

A single onboarding fee applies whenever we set up your payroll in Gusto. It depends on your situation, not which plan you pick. On-Call clients who already run their own Gusto skip this entirely.

Beginning of year

A fresh start, any team size. We build your account from scratch, with no past pay history to load.

Mid-year switch

Moving to us partway through the year. We also enter your year-to-date pay so your W-2s and quarterly filings come out right. Scales with your team size.

Brand-new employer

Running payroll for the very first time. Includes registering your home state's withholding and unemployment accounts, confirming your federal EIN and deposit schedule, building Gusto, setting your pay schedule, and validating a clean first run.
